Knowledge sharing and empowering others is an important part of who I am.
At the start of my career I launched the first BBC College of Journalism e-learning website, leading a team to create and commission inspiring articles, blogs, films, podcasts, interactive modules, and events from top BBC News talent on all aspects of broadcast journalism.
Some twenty years on I teach a course on VR ethics at UCL, as well as being the lead tutor on UCL’s radio documentary and podcasting course, and I continue to produce and present learning events for BBC about future tech.
I regularly give guest lectures at universities including Bristol, Royal College of Art, University of Illinois.
Whichever educational environment presents itself, I aim to distill and share what I know and what I have learnt so others can take it on and make it their own.
